I haven’t participated in Quilt Block Mania for awhile so I am excited to be a part of it this month. If you are new to Quilt Block Mania, it is a group of pattern designers who create quilt blocks around a theme. The blog hope style sharing is monthly and this month’s theme is FLORAL. If you’re a newcomer, welcome to my blog! So glad you are here!
My block is a Spring Tulip Block and is made with basic piecing methods, including stitch and flip triangles. The pattern walks through how to do the stitch and flip triangle method so you can learn it if you are new to this method.
Here is the block sewn up with some fun fabric from my “stash”.
This block lends itself well to creating an easy table runner out of it. By making two blocks and placing them on each side of the center of a third block, you can make a table runner that looks like this:
This SPRING TULIP BLOCK PDF PATTERN is free now until MAY. I hope you enjoy it and have fun with your sewing!
Here you can see the images of all the other beautiful floral-themed blocks. Please share some love with all the designers who created blogs for today’s blog hop by clicking on the links below and visiting their websites.
