It’s that time of year again! Not just spring, but new pattern release time! I’ve got two completely different patterns to share with you today. Both patterns are on sale now through Memorial Day. Details are at the end of the post.
The first new pattern is Flip & Heat Microwave Baskets.
If you’ve ever awkwardly grabbed a hot dish from the microwave with the tips of your fingers, you already understand why I created this pattern.
These baskets are designed to make handling hot dishes easier and more comfortable.. Unlike traditional bowl cozies, these baskets work well with both round and square dishes, making them extra versatile for everyday use.
The pattern includes three basket sizes to fit everything from soup bowls, to square glass leftover containers and small casseroles. The large size also works great as a bread basket.
No templates are needed. All you need are all cotton materials (100% cotton batting, cotton thread, and cotton fabric) and a few basic sewing tools you probably already have (rotary cutter, ruler, sewing machine, etc.). Some 505 basting spray is helpful.
One of the best parts? These baskets fold flat when you aren’t using them.
Flip up the corners to form the basket in seconds when needed.
