Okay, maybe, just maybe, I might be dreaming for a while. But it is a beautiful day in Minnesooooota, and I filled my bag with beach things and put it out in the grass that’s greening up 🙂
This is the bag I made for the Tote Swap I was in but I couldn’t find a box to fit it in. It might not look that big until you realize there are two oversized beach towels, a magazine a pair of sandals, a magazione and a water bottle in it. And, there’ s more room!
The finished bag is about 13″ x 20″ x 6″ I cut the panels 26″ wide. I do love a big bag!!
I used this bag for a sewing retreat last weekend and fit all my projects in it (and yeah, well, like a good retreat go-er that I am I brought WAY MORE than I could actually sew, lol). The best part is that I could find everything because it is wide but not deep.
I put a peltex base in the bottom and the fabric is home dec fabric so it is nice and sturdy. I skipped the shapeflex on this one because it is home dec but I did put in So Lazy Stiff Stuff to make it super durable.
Hope you are enjoying your spring day. Have a great weekend!

Hi,
I’m confused, do you sell the pattern for tote #9? I would love to make this one!
Thanks,
Cindy

Hi Cindy,
Sorry, no pattern for this one. For some of the totes, I am doing patterns and others I am just sewing up the totes to give people ideas for making their own. Hopefully some of the measurements in the blog post help you craft your own tote!
