I’m excited to be part of the Modern Vintage: Treasured project hop, celebrating a brand new fabric line by Rachel Rossi for Benartex Fabrics. This collection blends nostalgic charm with a fresh, modern palette. It’s a beautiful collection and it has been a pleasure to work with Rachel and these fabrics!
For my project, I sewed up the Essential Tote with her beautiful fabrics and used webbing for handles. I especially love the poppy print!
Here’s a peek at the interior of the bag. Lots of slip pockets that can be customized as you like.
I sewed the magnetic snap version of the Essential Tote, but the pattern also includes instructions for a zipper closure.
The Essential Tote is a go-to bag for me. I’ve lost count how many I’ve made and I’ve changed it up endlessly, making it many sizes and adding features like an exterior zip pocket, key leash, various pockets, whatever I’m in the mood for!
