Help! I purchased a PDF pattern but where do I download it?
If you ordered a PDF pattern, you will be directed to a page with download link(s) after completing your order. In addition, you will also receive an email with link(s) to your purchased patterns.
If you didn't receive an email, please check your junk/spam folder for the email.
Still can't find your download? No problem, just contact me and I'll make sure you get your PDF pattern(s).
Please be aware that PDF patterns are set to a limit of 10 downloads. So please download and save PDF patterns to your computer for future use. I have heard of issues downloading to an ipad or android phones, so downloading onto your computer is best.
If you have any problems getting your patterns, please just let me know and I am happy to help.
How long does it take to get my order?
If you purchase a paper pattern, silicone kit or other physical product, you will receive it in the mail. I ship most orders via USPS Ground Advantage. Orders placed Monday through Thursday are typically shipped within 12-36 hours. Orders received on Friday through the weekend generally ship on the following Monday.
I will send you a tracking number for any shipped order when I ship it. The only exception is for orders of 1-2 paper patterns which are shipped in an envelope (to keep the cost down, I don't add tracking on these orders, just stamps!).
If I am unable to ship as quickly as usual, I will put a banner at the top of the page so you are aware of an expected shipping delay.
I cannot be held responsible for lost orders.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping varies based on how much you order. The best way to find out is to put in your zip code during the checkout process and get the actual shipping amount.
Free shipping is available for retail orders of $100 or more.
What forms of payment do you accept?
My website was updated June 26, 2023 to make it easier to pay through debit or credit card, venmo, or paypal (sorry, no e-checks). The options will be visible at the bottom of the checkout page. Please contact me if you have any difficulties.
What is a PDF pattern anyway?
A PDF pattern is a sewing pattern that you can download instantly. All you need is Adobe Reader or another PDF reader on your computer. Once your payment has been processed through paypal, you will be taken to a website page with a link to download the pattern. You will also receive a link in the receipt email you will receive.
Each full-color pattern includes fabric requirements, helpful cutting layouts (when needed), and step-by-step sewing instructions with lots of helpful pictures and diagrams. Paper templates are included when needed for the pattern, which you cut out. Or, if you prefer to view online, just print the pattern pieces and read the instructions on your computer or tablet.
Can I return patterns?
Sorry, due to the nature of the product, sewing patterns can't be returned. Please read the description before making your purchase. If you have any questions, contact me and I’d be happy to help.
How will I know if I will like Around the Bobbin patterns?
It is really important to me to provide you with a high quality sewing experience so that you can sew these projects yourself with great results and a lot of fun! Here are a couple of ways you can be assured of getting a great product from me:

The patterns are fully tested by others as well so that you can count on tried-and-true patterns. I hope that you will find the instructions easy to follow and the projects a lot of fun to sew.
When I design a pattern, I personally sew the item myself over and over again until I can practically sew them in my sleep! Why? Because an idea alone doesn’t make a great product. Each time I tweak the initial design, simplifying the steps and refining the shape of the design until I am satisfied with the end product AND the process along the way.
Do you accept international orders?
I accept online orders from the U.S. and Canada for all products on the site.
International shipping rates do not include customs or duty charges. I don't have any control over customs or duty charges and they are the sole responsibility of the person placing the order.
Only PDF pattern purchases are available for international retail orders outside of the U.S. and Canada.
Can I sell items made with your patterns?
Yes! I want to support you in your small business as a maker. You can make and sell items from my patterns.
