With the early snow we got in Minnesota last week, it actually did feel a little like Christmas. But, no worries, it is still early and there is plenty of time to make fun Christmas gifts and decorations!
Welcome to the QUILT BLOCK MANIA – HOLIDAY edition. I’m calling my block MERRY AND BRIGHT. I hope you like these Christmas lights.
I have to say I love these colors. They are happy and cheerful and a little retro in a way I really like.
The Merry & Bright quilt block is a combination of piecing and applique. Another easy block you can finish quickly and have a little holiday fun. Turn it into a mini quilt, or combine it with other blocks in this series.
Here is what my sample block looked like. I don’t have it stitched yet, but it will give you an idea of how it looks with a different color combination.
DOWNLOAD THE MERRY & BRIGHT BLOCK PATTERN HERE. It’s free now through the end of the year so get yours now.
Here are all the links to the other designers’ blocks. These designers have outdone themselves – these blocks are amazing! I think you’re really going to have fun with them. Check them out and give these designers some appreciation! 🙂
