Today I want to tell you a little more about Itty Bitty Totes. This pattern is available in the Around the Bobbin store as a downloadable PDF pattern right now and the paper pattern is being printed right now for release next week!
You may have seen a lot of mini quilts lately and I thought it would be fun to play with the idea of mini totes. These little totes are so fun to make.
First start with a cute fabric print. It’s a great time to feature a fun print or go with a more sophisticated look. Or, create your own look with applique or a silhouette cutout.
It takes just a few minutes to cut them out and a few more to add interfacing!
Then stitch together for a fun little key chain coin purse.

First up is Jessi’s adorable little itty bitty, which she sewed beautifully. I love the way she combined the graphic print with a solid and aren’t those little pencils just the cutest??
Jessica put together this little cutie. She chose great fabric and did a wonderful job.
Judy picked out some fun word-art fabric for hers. Love it!
Noor didn’t stop with just one… I am especially fond of the polka dot print–that is a great choice and Noor did a beautiful job stitching these together.
Sam made 8 itty bitty totes. Yes, EIGHT! She gets the prolific itty bitty award, wow! I loved them all but here are two of my favorites. She did a great job placing the design just right, and I hadn’t thought of vinyl for these, but it looks awesome!
Peggy’s are just so sweet I can’t stand it. I might have to dig through my scraps today and make another one!
Oh, and yes, these are fully lined. Here’s a peek inside:
