I’d like to introduce you to the latest silicone pattern kit, Hedgehog & Hare.
I thought it would be really fun to try something new and create a project that would be great for a baby gift. So, in comes Hedgehog & Hare! The kit includes two silicone rings and instructions and templates to make the bunny ears (Hare) and the Hedgehog. Add in some crinkle material (or use the inner wrapper in a cereal box and some ribbons and you’ve got some adorable, unique gifts to give a special baby!
These can be made with flannel, minky and cotton quilting fabric. My personal favorite is using minky on one side of the bunny ears and flannel on the other side. Or, for the hedgehog, using flannel on the front and minky on the back. I recommend the low-nap minky so it doesn’t get too thick.
The Hedgehog & Hare pattern kit includes the instructions, templates and two silicone rings–one green and one gray. Like the other silicone kits, when you want to make more, you don’t need to re-buy the kit. Instead, you can get a refill for more silicone rings.
Babies can feel the soft fabrics, explore the ribbons, the crinkly noise and the textures on the silicone ring. The silicone is 100% safe for babies and has been independently safety-tested to be free of BPA, phthalates, lead and other harmful metals. The rings are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning!
