I just released two new patterns in time for fall market and they are now available so I wanted to share with you some pictures of them. I’ve very excited about my new table runner. It is an idea I have had for awhile and am so glad to have finally finalized the pattern.
Below is the Flower Power Table Runner a retro-modern splash of color for your table. It has an easy to piece background and appliqued flowers. I designed in first in solids, as shown in Kona cottons:
But then I really wanted to make it work for prints because then I know someone could buy it and make it out of a wide variety of fabrics. I created a simplified background to help the prints work together instead of all that sibling rivalry fighting for attention. I am so pleased with the result. Just two high contrast solids/blenders and three coordinating prints and you are ready to go. And it’s fat quarter friendly, too.
Here is a version that was in the Andover booth at fall market, in their funky Moon Flowers collection:
For a completely different look, check it out in Benartex Contempo collection Palm Springs, due out in February. I just have the quilt top because (dang it!) I forgot to take a picture of the finished runner before I brought it to market!
Hope you like the new table runner. Ask for it at your local quilt shop or order directly from me at the Around the Bobbin website.
Next up, the Olivia Bag…
