Today, I’d like to share a little about my two new patterns, Flip and Fill Baskets and Dino Buddies. I hope you enjoy seeing the tester pictures and a hearing a little bit about each pattern. If you’re interested in getting these, don’t forget to get the coupon code at the end of this blog post!
Flip and Fill Baskets are the perfect baskets for organizing sewing and crafting supplies (among other things!). These baskets flip up to create the basket shape, then fold flat to store when not in use. So, if you are working on a project that requires pieces, you have an easy way to organize on the fly and then you can simply store them away when you are done. Because they can be made in 3 sizes, they accommodate a variety of things from thread to applique pieces to name just a few.

Flip and Fill Baskets are sewn in the same way the Pass the Hot Dish pattern is sewn. So, if you’ve sewn the hot dish baskets, you already are well-versed in how they are made.
If you aren’t familiar with Pass the Hot Dish, these baskets fit a 9×13 pan or a 9×9 pan (2 sizes) and also fold flat when not in use. This has been one of my best sellers for years. These are a must-have for your favorite lasagna or casserole so you can dress up that baking pan to pass around the table without burning your fingers. Also, since they are sewn with foam inside, they never lose their shape.
Next up is Dino Buddies, the latest of my baby lovey patterns. It is a tale of two dinosaurs, one a Stegosaurus (“Steggie”) and the other an Andesaurus (“Andy”). You and your child, niece, nephew or grandchild get to write the rest of that story or let their siblings introduce baby to playtime with these fun baby toys. The baby-safe silicone rings are included in the pattern, along with the templates and instructions–as well as a short video on embroidering the eyes.
