Have you ever had a cord battle? I asked my son for some ear buds to use for a photo of my new pattern, the Tech Organizer, and this is what he handed to me.
He definitely needs the tech organizer. . . . and some cord wraps!

Inspiration comes from many places but this one was definitely borne from a need I personally had. I have a kindle, phone, battery charger, a headset, and cords for everything, and I am constantly losing them or untangling them. Not as bad as the pile of cords in the picture above, but kind of a headache. I am pretty sure many of you know what I’m talking about!
The Tech Organizer is a bag of pockets. Inside are 4 mesh pockets and on the back is a zip pocket and the front has 2 mesh pockets as well. It has lots of compartments to keep things organized.
There is also an extra pattern inside for the cord wraps to keep those pesky cords from turning into a tangled mess.
Just make sure you use the mini magnets for the cord wraps. These are under 3/8″ (10 mm actually) in size and work perfectly for these little cord organizers.
This pattern is fat quarter friendly – for the tech organizer, you need just two fat quarters, some mesh & two zippers. Add in some interfacing and you’ve got what you need. Details are on the back cover.
So, here’s the line-up of some wonderful tester bags!
Cara’s fun retro fabric shows off how much stuff can fit into this little bag. Love those fun rainbows too!
Check out Daryl’s cord wraps and tech bag. I really like her choice of prints on this!
Erin used lace instead of mesh – What a great idea!
With Jenniffer’s bag, you can get a glimpse into how easily accessible it is. No more digging for cords at the bottom of a big bag.
Ramona pretty flower print really stands out. Such pretty color choices on this one.
I really like this fabric Melissa chose too. This is a great gift for anyone. The picture on the right shows the back zip pocket.
Jessi did a fun variation on her bag, choosing sleek, shiny vinyl. She admitted it was a little thicker to work with so if you want to make this awesome vinyl version you might want to line it with something thinner. It’s so pretty and looks great with that black mesh!
Pat’s pretty bag is a great way to end this walk through of lovely bags. And aren’t those flowers beautiful too?
