Hi all!
I had a wonderful quilt market show in Minneapolis a couple weeks ago and I am finally starting to catch up! I launched a number of patterns, including a couple that were “previews” of patterns to come since they were still in testing at that time. So, I thought I’d introduce you to one of them today, the Itty Bitty Tote, which will be available next week.
It’s a cutie.
It is a keychain coin purse you can throw into a tote, hang from the handle of a tote, attach to a keychain, or clip on to anything else you can think of.
It also works as a purse for an American Girl Doll.
Put a pacifier in it and attach to the stroller.
You get the idea . . .
If you sew one, you’ll want to sew another.
Our dog looks a little bored when I tried to take her picture with the Itty Bitty dog tote….
But she wasn’t really bored.
She was just making evil plans.
Here’s the rest of the story….
We were visiting with family members at home after my niece’s wedding and Ginger wouldn’t come when called.
Hmmmmm, that is ALWAYS suspicious.
Yep.
I had shown the Itty Bitty Tote at Millie P’s Quilt Shop in Anoka, MN, last weekend, and I had put a dog treat in the little dog fabric Itty Bitty Tote to show yet another use for it…..and when I got home, I was tired and left my box of totes and other samples a little too close to ground level.
The pile of crumbs in the baggie is what is left of the dog treat. And the picture hardly does justice to all the little dog teeth marks that will never will come out.
So, now you know that you are looking into the face of unadulterated EVIL.
Ha, ha, I love my dog.
Okay, now that I have got that off my chest, back to business here. This has to be one of my favorite patterns to have fun with. They are really a great way to play with whimsical scraps and bits and pieces from favorite projects we’ve completed.
The pattern walks you through the steps for making this fun little Key Chain Tote. I will post out lots of awesome tester pictures next week when I release the pattern, but thought I’d show up on here to share a bit since it’s been a few weeks!
Hope you are enjoying your start to summer and get to make a little time for yourself and some sewing too!

Just received my first issue. Very interesting. I live in Canada and wondered if mailing a
pattern to me would be difficult. Looking forward to more issues.

Yes, while my store isn’t set up for it, I can do it. Send me a note via the contact form to tell me what you’d like to order and I’ll send you an invoice via paypal and ship. I’ll charge actual shipping cost.

Lol! Well, as an owner of three ESS, I truly feel your pain. I accidentally dropped A (ONE) kibble at the bottom of my brand newly made Annalise pattern bag and forgot about it in the moment, meaning to dig it out later. I’m glad I can’t leave a picture of it here, as I’m quite sure you’d be screaming and covering your eyes at the horror. They all looked quilty, but it’s never easy to know who did what as when one does something naughty, they all get the guilty-goofy-bum-waggy “we’re ALL so sorry” thing going on, so unless caught in the act, one never knows.
I just found it a little amusing that it was one of your designs that was horribly dismembered by my Springer trio after reading about Ginger’s adventure, lol.
Love your designs, and naughty or not, Ginger is adorable! 😉
